When maxed out, Master Yang gets a total of 8,500 extra HP + 20% and additional 4,100 ATK + 20%. Also, all Survivors receive a total of 18% additional ATK, as well as a boost in Revival Effects and Crit Rate.

You can also see that our tier list doesn’t go below C-tier. This is because all of the characters in Survivor.io can come in handy in specific scenarios. In other words, there’s no hero that will prove completely useless, which is why we didn’t want to go lower in tiers than C.

How to Get and Upgrade Survivors in Survivor.io

When you start playing Survivor.io, you get Common as the default character. From there, you’d be justified in thinking that the game has no other playable characters. Why? There’s no obvious way to recruit them!

In fact, there’s no way to view the rest of the roster unless you unlock new characters. That’s precisely why many players miss the fact that Survivor.io has an entire lineup of Survivors. So, how do you get them?

New Survivors are unlocked through limited events. These events can be annual or monthly and will drop character shards. You’ll need to gather a certain amount of shards to unlock the particular Survivor that’s available during the event. For Cartnips, that number will be 50 shards, while other characters will require 80.

Currently, there’s no way to obtain new Survivors aside from participating in events. So, if you’ve missed your chance to recruit a new hero, you’ll need to wait until the next opportunity presents itself.

When it comes to upgrading your Survivors, you can do so by leveling them up through gameplay and giving them high-tier gear.
