Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – What’s New in Patch 13.0.0

All good things come to an end eventually, and today is the day Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans have to say goodbye to major updates, as patch 13.0.0. will be the last one to introduce new features and content. Thankfully, the game will be going out with a bang, as the update brings support for the final DLC fighter, Sora, and plenty of balance changes for multiple characters.

What’s New in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 13.0.0 Patch

New Content

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 13.0.0 patch introduces support for Kingdom Hearts’ Sora, the final DLC fighter for the game. By purchasing Sora, you also get access to a new stage, the iconic Hollow Bastion. The patch also adds nine Kingdom Hearts songs to the game.

Patch 13.0.0 also adds new spirits inspired by the Kingdom Hearts series. The following spirits will appear in the Shop on the Vault menu.

The new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 13.0.0 patch also introduces support for additional Mii Fighters DLC content, such as the Judd Hat, Octoling Wig, and the Doom Slayer Helmet and Armor.

General Changes

The 13.0.0 patch introduces a variety of fixes that improve the gameplay experience. Unfortunately, the patch notes do not elaborate on which fixes have been introduced.

Fighter Adjustments

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 13.0.0 introduces some balance changes for multiple fighters, as well as a universal change for all characters that makes it so that opponents that fall down following Kazuya‘s side special cannot be stepped on when jumping.
